How long does paint protection film last?
If you drive your car daily, good paint protection film will likely last five to six years before it needs to be replaced. However, at Paint Protection Fresno, we provide a 10-year warranty against film lifting and staining, so you can drive worry-free for up to a decade.
Can I install paint protection film myself?
While you can technically install paint protection film yourself, we (and XPEL) highly recommend that you do not. The installation process requires a level of training and expertise that most auto owners don’t have and that a qualified paint protection film installer does.
How long does a paint protection film installation take?
A full paint protection treatment takes anywhere from two to five days. When you bring your vehicle in, we give it a thorough washing to ensure it is decontaminated and ready for treatment. Then, we inspect your car’s paint and make any necessary corrections.
After another wash, we start actually applying film – a process that takes a minimum of two days. After a final night’s rest (so the film can be set), we perform a final inspection of your car and (if necessary – it usually isn’t) fix anything we missed.
