FLEET & COMMERCIAL VEHICLE PPF
WHAT DOES FLEET PPF DO FOR YOUR BUSINESS?
Paint Protection Fresno uses XPEL paint protection film for fleet and commercial clients in Fresno and the Central Valley. XPEL is the preferred choice for business fleets because they:
- Build film engineered for high-mileage, daily-use conditions,
- Constantly refine their products for real-world performance
- Offer the installer training needed to protect your vehicles correctly.
- XPEL offers the thickest film available (8mm, when most competitors offer only 6mm).
With fleet PPF from Paint Protection Fresno, your commercial vehicles stay protected and presentable on every Central Valley route and job site run.
WHAT IS CLEAR BRA?
Paint protection film, also called clear bra, is a thin, clear urethane film that shields your fleet vehicles from scratches, road debris, and other daily road and environmental hazards. The film is:
- Flexible
- Lightweight
- And most importantly, damage-resistant.
When road debris or a parking lot scuff hits your vehicle, the paint protection film absorbs the force, protects your paint, and heals itself, keeping your fleet looking clean and professional.
WHAT IS PAINT PROTECTION FILM (PPF)?
Paint protection film is a thermoplastic urethane film applied to your vehicle’s painted surfaces. It is flexible, durable, and crystal clear, built to absorb impacts before they reach your paint. paintprotectionfilmfresno

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
What parts of a fleet vehicle can be protected with PPF?
Film can be installed on nearly any surface of your commercial vehicle, including the:
- Hood
- Bumpers
- Doors
- Rocker panels
- Headlights
- Mirrors
- Fender
How long does fleet paint protection film last?
For commercial vehicles in daily service, quality paint protection film typically lasts five to six years. At Paint Protection Fresno, we back our work with a 10-year warranty against film lifting and staining, so your fleet stays covered for up to a decade of hard use.
What brand of PPF do you install on fleet vehicles?
We install XPEL paint protection film on all fleet and commercial vehicle work. XPEL is the industry’s leading film brand, and we are a certified XPEL installer.
Can my staff self-install fleet PPF to cut costs?
We strongly advise against it. Proper PPF application requires trained technicians with professional tools in a controlled environment. Incorrect installation leads to film lifting, bubbling, and voided manufacturer warranties. Repairing a poor install typically costs more than professional installation would have, so self-install rarely saves money and can leave your fleet paint more vulnerable in the long run.
Do you work with businesses managing multiple vehicles?
Yes. We work with fleet clients across the Central Valley. Call us or fill out the form above and we will build a plan around your fleet.
How much does fleet paint protection film installation cost? (And why is there a range?)
Fleet PPF pricing depends on the coverage level selected, the size and type of each vehicle, paint condition, and how many units are involved. Larger vehicles like vans and trucks cost more to cover than passenger cars, and full-body coverage costs more than a front-end package.
There is a range in pricing, and the best way to get an accurate number is to call us. We can walk you through coverage options and help you determine what makes the most sense for your vehicles and budget.
How long does PPF installation take on a commercial vehicle?
A full paint protection treatment on a commercial vehicle takes three to five days per unit. When you bring the vehicle in, we give it a thorough wash to decontaminate the surface and prepare it for treatment. Then, we inspect the paint and make any needed corrections.
After another wash, we begin applying film, a process that takes a minimum of two days. After a final overnight rest (so the film can cure), we perform a detailed inspection and fix anything we missed before the vehicle returns to service.
How do fleet managers maintain PPF after installation?
We recommend avoiding automated car washes on PPF-protected vehicles and scheduling regular hand washes. We offer free inspections and detailing for clients whose vehicles we have protected.
Can PPF be removed from a fleet vehicle?
Yes, though we recommend keeping it in place as long as it is performing well. If a vehicle needs re-wrapping or is being retired, a trained installer can remove the film cleanly without damaging the paint. We recommend professional removal over attempting it without the proper tools.
